Since everyone is at home more, celebrities are letting the world see their living spaces more than ever—whether it’s a glimpse from their Zoom backdrop or a full-fledged house tour. And on the “Rachael Ray Show,” Kate Hudson gave a tour of her kitchen at home, revealing all the unique bells and whistles that come with it.

On the episode that airs on Thursday, Sept. 17, Hudson walked Ray and viewers through her L.A. kitchen. The tour began with Hudson pointing her selfie mode camera view at a vibrant backsplash tile above two out of the four (?!) ovens in her kitchen. She takes hosting very seriously… respect.

Next, Hudson focused on a window above the countertops, which she uses to distribute beverages to the kids when they’re running out of the house. (Beverage window? Yes, please!) In the other corner of the room, there’s a rather large breakfast nook, complete with a table that she designed to be both a coffee table and an eating space.

Hudson panned across the rest of the room, revealing a built-in entertainment system that looks to fill an entire wall. This area seems to be a multi-functional corner mostly dominated by her 1-year-old daughter, Rani—from the high chair to the pack and play and…is that a potty training toilet we see?

At the end of the tour, her teenage son Ryder makes a cameo, and when Ray asks if he’s been helping out in the kitchen during the pandemic, Hudson and Ryder both laugh out loud and Ryder sarcastically responds with “so much.” I’d say this family dynamic is pretty relatable.
