Kate Hudson and her family have been vacationing in Umbria, Italy, soaking in the sights, eating all the good food, and snapping pics to share with her massive audience. Her latest upload is a photo dump from their trip, which included a snap of a gorgeous vintage-inspired table lamp that has a shade on it that really speaks volumes.

“Umbria unfiltered,” Hudson captioned the upload. “Which slide speaks to you? Obviously they all speak to me but I have a soft spot for Rani’s low key poolside ab workout.”

Clearly there’s a soft spot for the Umbrian table setting in slide two. That velvet? The pleats? Too good.

The lamp Hudson snapped is likely a vintage piece — or, at least, a vintage shade attached to a modern brass base — and if that’s the case, it’s likely one-of-a-kind. However, there are a few similar shades floating around online that give off that same lush vibe, especially when paired with a matching floral arrangement and gold-flecked tablecloth.

This gathered drum shade from DaysGoneByTreasures on Etsy is nearly an exact color match to the one Hudson saw in Umbria. It, too, is pleated around the drum shape, and features delicate woven trim on both the top and bottom.

Etsy seller LaDeesAntiques has a small cranberry shade for sale that matches in color and overall style, too. This shade is great because it’s the kind that slips over the bulb, so it can be attached to almost any existing lamp.

And this lamp from Target is a bit of a diversion, but the pink fringe and brass base definitely give off that glamorous “enjoying dinner theater” vibe.

Keep your eyes peeled the next time you head to an antique store because according to Umbrian decorators, vintage pleated velvet lampshades are in.
