Aldi Is Selling These Cute Mini Fall Gems, and I Want All 6 Designs

“Summerween” has officially landed at Aldi, complete with scary-cute Halloween throw blankets, wax warmers, and witch cauldron mugs. If you’re not quite ready to swap out your patio hangouts for spooky season just yet, Aldi’s new Kirkton House 16” Tall Fall Mini Gnomes might be the thing that convinces you to get excited about cozy days spent inside.

Aldi’s 16-inch-tall Fall Mini Gnome, which is on sale for $4.99, is literally the cutest fall decor item I’ve seen yet this year. The wee plush gnome has a little orange flower on his striped orange, brown, yellow, and white pointed hat, and he’s got a long white beard, matching striped stockings, and a terracotta orange body and shoes. 

There are a total of six festive Aldi mini gnomes available, including one with a fiery orange red beard who has a white cap embellished with a red maple leaf, as well as a cottagecore gnome with a white beard and a pumpkin-embroidered cap. There’s also a slightly more expensive set of 20-inch gnomes on sale for $8.99, if you want to go all-in on the fall gnome theme but add dimension to your decor.

I love the idea of swapping out plastic Halloween decor for fabric plushies, and the Aldi gnomes have a bit of a cult following — they come back year after year, and some people collect the gnomes that go along with each season. (The spring ones have butterflies and flowers on them and come in baby blue, pinks, purples, and springy oranges, as well.) Lifestyle Editor Lizzy Francis says she’s “obsessed” and wishes she lived near an Aldi to grab one herself. 

Unfortunately, these adorable plush gnomes are already flying off shelves (I couldn’t find any near me), so you’ll want to check online to see which ones are available for pickup or delivery at your closest Aldi location. 

Otherwise, Walmart is selling a set of similar Harvest Thanksgiving gnomes that have real wood noses and are quite a bit smaller (9.05 inches in height compared to 16 inches). They also have a slightly brighter colorscape instead of the muted, more Scandi-inspired design of the Aldi ones. However, they’re on sale for $10, which means you can get a pair of these whimsical gnomes for about the same price as the Kirkton House variety.
