Kris Jenner Just Bought the House Across the Street From Kim Kardashian
Brace yourselves, we’ve got some Kardashian real estate news. If the K-word sends a shiver down your spine, might we suggest you not pass Go, close the tab, and find something else to read ASAP (there’s some really pretty fringe to look at over here). But if you fellow reality TV junkies are ready for a (not-so) shocking update, let’s proceed.
Kris Jenner just bought the house across the street from her daughter Kim Kardashian West.
Taking “helicopter mom” to new heights (or is this one a low?), the momager scooped up a $9.9 million home in Hidden Hills, California, conveniently close to Kim, Kanye and Kris’ less alliterative grandkids, North and Saint, as reported by People.
The home is lovely (a little more retro in the wood-paneled kitchen than I’d imagined Kris would go for), and you can check out some pictures of it in the gallery above. It sits on 1.28 acres and has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a theater, a gym and a pool — huge by any standards, even Kardashian ones. And that closet is practically big enough to be a bedroom of its own (think of the shoe storage options).
But design situation aside, can you picture for a second what it would be like to live next to your mom? If you’ve watched the show, you know the Kardashian clan is a reallyclose family. If I worked professionally with my mom every day, I’d want my home sanctuary to be somewhere far, far away from drop-in visits. At least far enough where she’d have to text to see if I was home rather than peek at my Range Rover through the window.
Then again, I don’t have two kids at home, and Kim and Kanye are both busy, busy people. So maybe it’s nice that the kids’ grandmomager is just across the street.
What do you think, reality TV fans? Are you surprised? Could you live like this?
