We wanted to share our tiny little slice of life with you. we’re a pair of architects/interior designers living in a teeny tiny apartment in the bustling urban neighborhood of East Village in San Diego, California and absolutely adore our home.

It’s filled with love, many items we’ve crafted ourselves, as well as the cutest little dachshund in the whole world. Our apartment was definitely designed with a high/low sensibility—while there are a few high-end items that we adore, but we also have several vintage finds that we got for a steal.

I think what’s interesting about our space is that we took a very cookie cutter apartment that is under 1,000 square feet and made it into a space that feels like a real home. We’re known as the couple that magically fits in large, sometime raucous dinner parties into a super small space (sorry neighbors!).

It’s also our first home together, so we’ve learned to combine our aesthetic sensibilities. I’m personally very partial to whites, minimalism and super clean lines, where Brad has a penchant for detail, warm wood tones and vintage. We’ve had a lot of fun styling and restyling our home together, although it sometimes takes the back seat since we’re constantly working on designs for other spaces for our work as well.

Thanks, Kristine and Bradley!
