Lance Bass’ Purple Tufted Couch Is Anything But Boring

The former *NSYNC’er shared a TikTok celebrating his 42nd birthday (how is that even possible?) giving fans a glimpse into his living space, which includes a purple tufted sofa that’s to die for.

In the video, Bass is perched on the grape-hued linen tufted sofa, which brings such an unexpected pop of color in the otherwise neutral space. If you think a purple sofa would be overwhelming, the classic shape of the chesterfield adds a timeless aesthetic quality. 

In 2016, the boy bander invited Elle Decor into the Los Angeles home he shares with husband Michael Turchin. “We love mixing classic design with modern design throughout, and love neutral colors, but the artist in me always wants to mix in punches of bright colors and exotic textures/metals,” Turchin said. At the time, there was no purple sofa in sight, only two equally chic deep red leather armchairs and a grey sofa. Seeing as though he recently dyed his hair a luscious shade of lilac, it appears he swapped the neutral sofa out for his new color du jour.
