5.5-Qt Round Dutch Oven

One of my favorite things about winter is all the emphasis on color, with brands like KitchenAid and Pantone announcing their “color of the year” (the latter’s was pretty controversial this year). It’s also often when Le Creuset retires a color from its collection, like the super-light lavender shade Shallot, to make room for a new one. *Drumroll, please!*

The newest shade in Le Creuset’s lineup is Forêt, a forest-inspired deep matte green with gold accents. The 101-year-old French cookware brand just dropped 20 different products (so far) in the color, and I went through them all to round up the five I’m most excited about — including my favorite on-sale find. Add a pop of the new color to your kitchen right now, starting at just $22.

Le Creuset is known for its iconic (and versatile) Dutch ovens, and that longstanding quality extends to the new lush green color. Forêt is available in the 5.5- and 7.25-quart sizes. It’s so gorgeous, it’s bound to earn a permanent spot on your stove.

Signature Skillet
$260

This enameled cast iron skillet is a go-to in my kitchen: It’s easy to clean, sears nicely, and is perfect for one-pan meals. While there are a bunch of color options and sizes available, I suggest snagging the Forêt shade, which comes in the 9- and 10.25-inch sizes.

Mini Round Cocotte
$32$22

One of the most affordable and adorable ways to collect Le Creuset’s stunning colors is by grabbing a mini round cocotte. It’s versatile enough to hold individual desserts, crowd-pleasing dips, or snacks like fruit, nuts, and candies. The 8-fluid-ounce cocotte is also oven- and microwave safe, and on sale for just $22.

Signature Saucepan
$235

Upgrade your saucepan to this all-matte-green stunner with a golden knob. It’s made from enameled cast iron, so you know it’ll be a cinch to clean, and it can hold 1.75 quarts (or almost two cartons of chicken stock).

San Francisco Square Casserole

Whether you’re serving up Tuscan baked spaghetti or bringing your favorite lemon bars to a friend’s house, this casserole dish will rake in all the compliments. And because it’s microwave-, oven-, and broiler-safe, you can cook, carry, and serve all in one dish.
