Lick’s New Tool Transforms Your Pinterest Boards Into Shoppable Paint Palettes
With the help of this tool, Pinterest users can convert their Pinterest boards into shoppable paint palettes with the click of a button. From there, shoppers can try out their personalized palettes at home, using peel-and-stick paint samples.
“Lick understands how daunting it can be to pick a paint palette,” Tash Bradley, Lick’s Head of Color Psychology, tells Apartment Therapy. “By identifying colors within your favorite pins and creating a customized palette that is unique to you, the Lick Colors Tool is a simple and interactive alternative to the daunting process of browsing through pages of colors, that transforms online inspiration into a physical mood board.”
Home decor is the top category on Pinterest, with millions of users coming to the platform each month to brainstorm their next home improvement project. Pinterest has recently seen a 30% search increase for “colorful living rooms,” and a 30% increase in “colorful interiors.”
“We’re excited that the Lick Colors Tool for Pinterest will enable Pinners to turn the inspiration that they find on the platform into reality,” Clair Lui, a member of Pinterest’s retail team, said in a release. “With a spike in colorful living room searches on Pinterest over the past few months, I’m sure we’re set to see people converting their impactful pins into home interior realness thanks to the Lick palettes.”
