Lowe’s Is Selling the Cutest Outdoor Gem (1K+ People Bought It Last Week!)

Increasing the joy factor in your home doesn’t have to end at your front door, especially now that patio season is underway. If you’re trying to add some pockets of fun and kitsch to your yard or balcony (without spending an arm and a leg), check out Lowe’s, which is selling the cutest faux topiaries that’ll bring a smile to any pet parent’s face — no green thumb necessary.

I first came across these artificial turf dogs on Instagram. Creator Nicole Mansch (@nikkimansch) posted a video coming across the adorable dogs at Lowe’s in the Garden Center, and I just had to start digging. 

That’s when I discovered that the Naturae Decor Green Artificial Turf Topiary Dog is currently on sale for $44.98. I may run over to Lowe’s myself — the dogs are such a cute outdoor (and indoor) decor solution. Whether you have your own fur baby or just love dogs, the life-size topiary dog looks at home hanging out in the grass, next to your patio table, or even as a focal point by your entryway. The dog measures 13.8 inches in depth, 8 inches in diameter, and 13 inches in height. It’s made of a vibrant green artificial turf and features floppy ears, a round snout, and a perky tail that looks like it’s mid-wag.

The turf topiary dog is also available in a larger 18.9-inch size for $71.99 at Home Depot (but sold out online, so you’ll have to go check it out in person). It won’t be barking and running over for pets from your guests (although they’ll definitely be tempted to anyway), but it’s soft to the touch and is constructed from a UV-resistant polypropylene that’ll keep the material from fading in the sun. Each topiary dog also comes with a one-year UV resistance warranty as well as four metal stakes that you can use to keep it in place through more intense weather conditions.

If you want to infuse some extra humor into your turf topiary display, Lowe’s is also selling a “funny” Naturae Decor design of a dog lifting its leg up to pee. On sale for $49.99, the 13.78 inch-high pup is a bright green conversation starter wherever you decide to display it — as well as a very budget-friendly way to spruce up your space and spark a little bit of goofy joy.

The turf topiary dog has quickly become one of Lowe’s bestsellers, with the website showing that 1,000 were purchased last week. (The peeing dog was in 100+ carts.) Considering Home Depot shows both designs are sold out on their website, you’ll want to act quickly if you want to snag one for your own outdoor space — and according to shoppers, you’ll be happy you did.

Reviewers called out the “supercute” design while others said their “whimsical little pup” has become a regular conversation starter with guests. “Strange as it may seem, they all stop to give him a little pat on his head,” they raved. “He gets a lot of laughs and is a great addition to our yard.” They also revealed that the adorable design is surprisingly sturdy and “[tolerates] the elements surprisingly well.” Another commenter suggested that they would put different bows on their topiary dog to match the seasons.
