Rebecca Minkoff, Jason Wu, and Christian Siriano are no strangers to New York Fashion Week. But this year, the high-end designers will be curating a brand new type of fashion line: home decor—in collaboration with Lowe’s.

Lowe’s and New York Fashion Week: The Shows have teamed up with these three designers to bring a collection of curated home decor “edits” to the runway. On Tuesday, Sept. 8, the edits will be revealed over on Lowe’s Twitter account, and the collections will appear as backdrops to the designers’ NYFW collections, which will debut later that same month.

Lighting, patio furniture, flooring, and building materials will all be featured on the runway. All pieces will embody what “home” means to each designer.

“The intersection between home and style has never been more prevalent than it has this year, and partnering with some of the world’s most modern and visionary leaders of fashion to demonstrate how everyone can bring fashion “home” is very exciting to us,” Marisa Thalberg, Lowe’s Chief Brand and Marketing Officer, said in a press release

She continued, “Our homes can be our greatest form of self-expression, in fact. We hope that seeing how these designers express themselves and bring their ultimate runway visions to life through the world of products we sell every day at Lowe’s will be inspiring to people everywhere to feel they can do the same, and more easily and affordably than they might have ever imagined.”

New York Fashion Week was given the go-ahead by New York’s Governor Andrew Cuomo, and designers will present their lines in shows that comply with state regulations regarding coronavirus. Minkoff, Wu, and Siriano have already planned outdoor shows, and each will be livestreamed on Lowe’s website. You’ll also be able to shop each designer’s edits at the Lowe’s NYFW portal.
