This Editor-Loved Fry Pan from One of Our Favorite Small Brands Is Back in Stock — but Likely to Sell Out
We make it our job (actually, it is our job) to tell our readers about the hottest releases in the world of cookware. But every once in a while, a product is so popular that it sells out almost immediately, and, trust us, we get just as sad as you do. Such is the case with Made In’s Non Stick Frying Pan, which, after a brief zero-inventory hiatus, is back in stock in every size. The pan is one of Made In’s bestselling items, so consider this your warning: If you’ve had this pan on your list, now is the time to snag it before it disappears again!
Like Made In’s stainless steel and carbon steel cookware, the brand’s non-stick family boasts the same high-quality construction, with a special PFOA-free Made Slick™ coating that they describe as “seriously slippy.” In fact, when Kitchn’s associate food editor Meghan tested the pan, she noted that it was “perfect for scrambling eggs.” And while eggs are really the ultimate non-stick test, don’t forget that Made In’s pan is also ideal for searing delicate seafood, making easy-to-flip pancakes, and browning melty sandwiches. It comes in 8-, 10-, and 12-inch sizes, or you can buy a set of three if you’re looking for options to suit any recipe.
On the subject of versatility, the pan is oven safe up to 500 degrees, something you don’t see very often with non-stick cookware. So you can sear a steak and finish it in the oven, or even bake a cobbler (two recipes that are notoriously tough to clean up — until now). It’s also compatible with any cooktop and has a stay-cool handle so that you can shake and flip ingredients safely. The pan has multiple coatings and five-ply construction, so it’s much more durable than other non-stick and ceramic cookware. (Reminder: As always with non-stick cookware, use only wooden or silicone utensils to preserve the quality of the pan’s coating, and hand wash it rather than put it in the dishwasher.)
So whether you’ve got some old non-stick cookware that’s no longer performing well or you’re looking for an everyday superhero pan that can turn out perfect omelets, caramelized fruit, roasted meats, and more, head over to Made In to pick up one (or more) of their non-stick frying pans while you can. Because once they’re gone, it could be a while before they’re back in stock.
