This French Cat Furniture Brand Sells a Rainbow of Cat Cocoons

New year, new you, new cat furniture? We love finding new cat furniture almost more than we love finding new human furniture. At cat-size, it’s easier to experiment with shape and material, and it’s also easier for us to buy several beds and still have money left to continue paying our rent. 

Even those of us who don’t have cats and therefore have no plans to purchase a cat bed enjoy seeing the cute, creative designs. We’ve seen cat burritos, macrame cat hammocks, cat beds shaped like fish skeletons…and our latest favorite cat bed is a fabric cocoon shaped like a giant bead.

French cat furniture brand Meyou Paris began through a Kickstarter campaign, according to Design Milk. It offers three different but related models of cat habitat: The Cube, The Ball, and The Bed. All are made of cotton and come in a range of neutral, deep, and bright colors. 

The Cube looks like an artistic representation of an olive on a toothpick. All that’s missing is your pimento cat.

The Ball opens up the design and lets the round fabric cocoon take center stage.

We love the juxtaposition of the silly, cheerful shape and this cat’s serious face.

The Bed offers elevation and less privacy, for the cat who doesn’t like it when everyone hangs out without them.

Meyou Paris also sells the cocoon inserts to The Cube and The Ball separately, in case your original wears out or you just want to have more color options.
