If You’re Into Handmade Rugs, You’ll Love One Of Michelle Branch’s Favorites
The internet’s obsession with handmade rugs isn’t about to go away any time soon, and luckily, Michelle Branch hopped on the trend super early. Branch posted a photo of a gorgeous hand-tufted leopard rug back in 2020 that we’re still obsessed with — and thankfully, the rug is still available to purchase.
“The purrfect rug for a little boy’s bathroom,” Branch captioned her post back in May 2020. (Branch’s styling of the handmade leopard rug layered over her antique kilim rug is also very inspirational for your design brain.)

The quirky leopard rug is part of the Tapis Amis rug collection from Doing Goods. Each rug in the collection is drawn out, tufted, and shaved down completely by hand by artisans in India using 100 percent wool yarn.
And because each rug is made by hand, they are all completely unique from one another and therefore, more like individual works of art rather than regular old floor coverings.
The Loony Leopard — as well as the other Tapis Amis animal rugs — comes in three different sizes so you can pick the perfect leopard for your space. Branch opted for the small version to fit in her bathroom, but the XL size can take up an entire living space.
Pick your favorite member of the animal kingdom (Doing Goods offers leopards, tigers, bears, gorillas, raccoons, alligators, and more) and get ready to be blown away by the craftsmanship that arrives at your door. The quality and quirkiness both make these rugs heirlooms that you and your family will treasure for years to come.
