Mindy Kaling has already moved on to her new home, but she recently just sold her old one for just under $2 million. Peek insde the Beverly Grove Spanish inpsired property that just found a new owner.

Built in 1929, the four bedroom, three bathroom home stretches over 2,674 square feet and retains some of its original charm. The vintage vibes are brought by those lovely timber ceiling beams, arched doorways, multiple fireplaces, built-in niches, and wrought iron details. And all three bathrooms retain their original colorful tile evocative of the late ’20s/early ’30s: one each in yellow, lavender, and teal. The backyard has a detached garage that’s currently set up as a gym.

The property was originally listed for $2.2 million, and was sold at the end of February for $1,955,000. Kaling had already moved on by then to her new home in Hancock Park—also built in the 1920s—which was the subject of a 10 month renovation.

“It’s a little Wes Anderson,” Kaling told Architecural Digest. “It’s how layered it looks—he’s very conscious and he’s very generous with the colors in his palette.”

The new place is also the home where she welcomed daughter Katherine into the world—as well as an unexpected gift from A Wrinkle In Time costar, Oprah.

“[The delivery people] arrived with a hand-carved bookcase, prettier than any professional dollhouse you had ever seen that contained a hundred of the classic essential books in children’s literature,” Kaling explained. “And I held my baby up to it and I said, ‘Did you see what Miss Winfrey did for you?’ Each book has ‘Katherine’s Book Club’ on it.”
