Supermodel-turned-wellness-tycoon Miranda Kerr and her boyfriend, SnapChat founder Evan Speigel, may call a $12 million, 7,200-square-foot Brentwood estate home. But when they’re not enjoying that palatial estate, they’re hanging out at their 1,700-square-foot oceanfront cottage in Malibu.

Kerr and Speigel took The Hollywood Reporter for a tour of their cozy four-bedroom cottage, and it’s enough to fulfill all your beach house dreams.

“Home is my favorite place in the world,” Kerr told THR. “It’s where you go to recharge, feel nurtured and inspired, entertain, create fun memories with those you love.” Of course, it’s not hard to feel that way in her adorable cottage, which Miranda purchased for $2.15 million when she first moved to Los Angeles. Though she previously lived there with her son Flynn (with ex-husband Orlando Bloom), Kerr told THR that she’s since given the property a full overhaul, allowing the Malibu sunshine to stream in.  (Kerr and Speigel also now have two children of their own: a 2-year-old son, Hart, and a newborn, Myles.)

“Wherever I could add more light, I did,” says Kerr. “I saw so much potential.” She installed glass sliding doors throughout the home to create that perfect indoor/outdoor aesthetic, and ditched dated fixtures for a glass-enclosed steam shower and freestanding claw-foot tub. The kitchen got also got overhaul, with new, top-of-the-line appliances like Thermador wall ovens and stove top and a Viking refrigerator brought in. Kerr says the kitchen is her favorite part of the cottage, “as it’s the heart of our home.”

The look inside their cottage comes at the perfect time, since Kerr is launching a home collection with Universal Furniture. The collection will be available starting in the spring, and will be priced from $1,200 to $2,000. Naturally, you can find many pieces from Kerr’s collection throughout the couple’s home. Kerr conceived the white lacquer Peony nightstands, which flank her and Evan’s bed, as well as the Brentwood chair and ottoman and Hexagon Martini Table, which stand next to a wall full of kids’ drawings and artwork.

“Growing up, my grandmother was always hosting people—she had an open-door policy. I wanted to create that same feeling,” says Kerr. “Wherever my home has been, people would say, ‘This is so cozy.’ They’d never want to leave.”
