Ahead of World Menopause Day on Oct. 18, Naomi Watts is helping to break the stigma and open up conversations with an exclusive range of greeting cards, sold in collaboration with Em & Friends.

The Naomi Watts Menopause Collection has been lovingly designed to help women embrace the change. While there seems to be a greeting card for everything these days — did anyone else receive a “happy quarantine” card? — the actress wants to embrace and celebrate menopause as part of every day life versus a taboo topic that is very rarely discussed, despite 1.3 million women in the U.S. alone entering menopause each year.

Empowering women through the transitional period, the cute and colorful greeting cards offer humorous and inspiring quotes, along with helpful titbits about the symptoms of menopause.

“On one hand there’s brain fog, headaches, insomnia, mood swings, and whatever the hell is happening to my knees,” one card reads. “On the other hand, there’s the breathtaking power of truly not giving a s–t what anyone thinks anymore”.

Watts isn’t a stranger to sharing all things menopause related with her fanbase. The “Twin Peaks” star has been very vocal about the ups and downs of going through the change, and in one candid Instagram post she gets real about some of the most common symptoms.

Opening up a conversation among famous friends and fans, Watts wrote: “Coming soon or playing now in your very own meno show. What’s topping the charts for you right now?”

“No migraines!! But yup. The basics.” replied Selma Blair.

“Oh god yes,” wrote fashion designer Jenna Lyons, along with a bunch of laughing face emojis.

The greeting cards are available for purchase for $5 each. From now through October 31, Em & Friends will donate $1 from each card sale from the Naomi Watts Menopause Collection to the Alliance for Period Supplies.
