Each Room in This Classic Brooklyn Condo Is a Gorgeous Tribute to Colors Found in Nature
“We moved to New York one and a half years ago from London, and originally we were thinking of only staying for a year or two before moving back to California,” begins illustrator and tattoo artist Elizabeth Lai, who goes by Ze. “But New York really started to feel like home, and we decided to do some cheeky viewings around town to just see what our options were.”

Ze was on the home hunt with partner Omer and their dog, Puffin. “We saw a couple places that were really disappointing, and so we really had no clue if buying in New York would be possible. And then we saw this space!”
They found this 920-square-foot, two-bedroom condo on StreetEasy. “And the moment we walked through the hallway, we instantly knew it was the one!”
“When we were doing the initial viewing, what blew us away was the large rectangular living room with a large window at the end of it. We viewed a lot of spaces that had very segmented living rooms that wouldn’t work for what we need it to. And this one just had the perfect dimensions for a workspace as well.”
