Sure, your love life might not be the stuff romantic comedies are made of, but at the very least, your apartment might be.

The flat above the bookshop from the 1999 film “Notting Hill” is now on the market for £2.375 million (or about $2.77 million). The property is set over three floors, and is located on Portobello Road in West London, right above the Travel Book Shop where bookkeeper William Thacker, portrayed by Hugh Grant, met Anna, a Hollywood actress portrayed by Julia Roberts.

The apartment wasn’t featured in the movie, but perhaps it should have been, judging from how lovely it is. With 1,414 square feet of living space, the triplex features an open plan reception room, kitchen and dining room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an outdoor terrace. The third floor is one giant primary bedroom, with an en suite bathroom and steam room.

“This gorgeous apartment on Portobello Road is providing a purchaser the chance to own a piece of cinematic history. The beautiful triplex apartment, alongside its iconic location, is truly a one-of-a-kind sales opportunity,” said Hermione Russell, of sellers Russell Simpson.

She added: “Alongside this notable home is on one of the most famous roads in area, right in the hub of Notting Hill with several shops, bars, restaurants and the market close by.”

As for the bookstore, although it’s now a gift shop, it still has the iconic blue facade from the film. Many of the indoor scenes were actually shot in a private studio, but the shop was where Anna confessed her love by delivering that iconic line.

If you’re interested in the property (and secretly hoping you’d find yourself in an unexpected meet-cute), you can learn more about it here.
