Check Out Padma Lakshmi’s Favorite Etsy Finds

Emmy-nominated TV host and culinary expert Padma Lakshmi teamed up with Etsy to create a curated list of her favorite Etsy-sourced homewares. Lakshmi’s Etsy edit, which is centered around the kitchen and dining table, creates an organic, lived-in feel with handmade and vintage items.

“What I enjoy most about food is that it brings people and communities together,” Lakshmi, who hosts “Taste The Nation” on Hulu, told Etsy. “When I’m entertaining, I want every piece on the table to be just as meaningful and impactful as the food, company, and conversation itself.”

Lakshmi chose a variety of different ceramic dishware, including whimsically-patterned spoon rests, a handmade curry pot, and a collection of made-to-order rustic-looking ceramic spoons from Etsy seller Brilloncreative.

“I like an aesthetic that feels like it’s been collected over the years, that has some organic elements,” Lakshmi says in the Etsy video. The tie-dyed cloth napkins she included in her edit from ApricotLA come in a variety of natural colors, like a dreamy wisteria blue shade that will make you want to plan a picnic party ASAP.

“There’s room in this curated list for your own point of view,” Lakshmi continued. “I like to have different things in my space from all over the world. It reminds me that the world is a really exciting place, and I want my home to reflect that.”

A long and leaf-shaped serving board from Australia-based Etsy seller ManualArtsDEpt is one such thing Lakshmi chose from abroad. The handle can be personalized, and each unique serving tray is hand carved from Australian hardwood.
