Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: I think of my home much I like I do my wardrobe. It is an expression of who we are as a family, but we don’t take it too seriously and aren’t afraid to change it up from time to time.

I love thrifted vintage items mixed in with modern handmade art, lots of color, and plants. I wish I needed more rugs and lamps; I love them!

Hard to describe; but perhaps a sparkly jewel toned movie theater, mixed with a little grandma and a little bohemian.

What is your favorite room and why? Is a stairway a room? Because mine is my favorite spot in the house. I especially love looking up to the bright yellow star ceiling light on the mint green ceiling. Almost no one will ever notice it; but I do everyday!

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? A tiny little handmade pottery wall plaque of a bird (thrifted for 99 cents).

Any advice for creating a home you love? Don’t think of the end result you want; enjoy the process of assembling objects, textiles, and colors that make you feel happy and that you love. The end result will be a space that gives you joy and is reflection of you.
