Whether you have a separate dining room or not, finding the perfect chairs to enjoy a meal on is not an easy feat for the budget minded design lover. When you’re on the hunt to find two to eight (or more!) comfortable and attractive seats, that quickly adds up. That’s why we were excited when we came across this chic bargain that’s almost too good to be true.

MyDomaine reports that a 3,000-plus member, closed Facebook group for decor lovers were raving about these mid-century inspired velvet dining chairs, sold on Amazon in sets of two for as little as $85. That’s just $43 per chair, folks.

There are a couple sellers with the chairs: Giantex sells them in red wine and green for $85, and blue for $110; Eggree has those three colors, plus rose, grey and light green for between $92 and $96 per pair at press time.

$43 isn’t IKEA prices, but when you compare them to similar options from West Elm ($299 each), Anthropologie ($398 each), and Saarinen ($1,150 each), they are definitely more affordable.

MyDomaine says that the Facebook group members who’ve “purchased the chairs and posted images of the items IRL, [confirm] that they live up to the hype.”

Plus, one of the brands, Eggree, has 14 reviews with an average customer rating of four stars—some of them also posted photos of the chairs so you can see what they really look like. We’re cautiously optimistic, since all signs point to them being a legit steal.
