This Brand’s Room Spray Gets Me So Many Compliments — and Now They Have New Candles for Spring
Anyone who knows me knows that if there’s one brand I love, it’s P.F. Candle Co. As someone who tests a lot of home fragrance products, I’ve come across many stellar brands, but none have been as consistently impressive to me as this one. My love for the brand started a couple of years back when I first discovered my holy grail room spray that, to this day, never fails to get me compliments. After that, I practically started collecting items from the brand; room sprays, candles, diffusers, I’ve got them all. So, needless to say, whenever news of a product launch comes down the pipeline, I’m filled with the same joy as a kid on Christmas Eve. Inspired by dreamy California days, the Soft Focus collection is designed to evoke recollections of hazy, ethereal days spent at iconic locations all over the Golden State. With this launch, the brand is releasing three new limited-edition scents: Canyon Hideway (a classic warm, smoky scent with notes of sandalwood, amber, and juniper), Citrus Daze (a gorgeous blend of orange, grapefruit, and California poppy), and Electric Surf (a scent that somehow perfectly bottles the scent of a beach bonfire with jasmine wafting through the air). And to really play up the ethereal feel, each candle comes in a frosted glass jar that radiates a subtle glow when lit.
I was fortunate enough to test all three scents, and I have to say, my favorite is Electric Surf. Don’t get me wrong, I am a big fan of all three, but I have truly never smelled a candle quite like Electric Surf. When I opened the jar and took a whiff, Seals and Croft’s Summer Breeze immediately started playing in my head (dramatic, I know, but it’s the truth). It smells hazy and tranquil, like smoky sunshine with a touch of jasmine, linen, and sea salt. You can bet this is one candle I’ll be burning well into the summer and beyond.
