“It’s an old home with a ton of character; it has beautiful wood floors and beautiful moldings,” he begins. “There are built-in cabinets/benches in some rooms, and old golden cast iron radiators in every room. It’s a beautiful home.”
The house was pretty dark, and so they painted a ton. “I knew with all my plants we would NEED to brighten up the space, so we painted the moldings and walls brighter colors,” he writes.
“As a plant-collecting maximalist, I’ve blended greenery and decor to create such a peaceful and nature-inspired vibe. It’s truly such a unique and historic home — it’s over 100 years old! I love plants and nature. It is very visible in how I’ve laid out my home!”
