Candice Shah has shared this 1,000-square-foot apartment in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey, with her cat, Nala. And in the two years since she’s purchased the apartment, she’s worked toward turning it into “a personal expression of my love of cats, Parisian interiors, and color.”

Before moving in, Candice describes the space has having “cream walls with beige carpeting.” After remodeling and DIY projects, it’s now “a colorful cat and Parisian-inspired home with herringbone floors and picture frame wall molding mixed with modern and antique home decor.”
“This has become my sanctuary where I work, eat, sleep and breathe interior design. This home is perfect for any fellow cat ladies and has cute quirks including cat stickers placed near outlet covers and a DIY gallery wall filled with photos of various cat poses.
