When Prince George and Princess Charlotte head over the river and through the woods to Grandmother’s house, they hang out in some very fun digs. That’s because Carole Middleton, the mother of Kate Middleton, recently revealed some festive fun she likes to bright out for her grandkids during the holidays.

Carole, a professional party planner, told The Telegraph that each grandkid gets their own Christmas tree in their bedrooms “so that they can decorate it themselves.” That got us thinking about some fun themes, in case you want your little one’s room to have lots of holiday flavor, too.

For the superhero obsessed: Does your child dream of living in a comic book? This tree has everything from mini Batman and Superman stuffed animals to cut-outs of classic fight sequence phrases like “POW!” and “BOOM!”

For the silliest holiday fan: If your kids find your traditional tree a little bit boring, allowing them to decorate their own can be a fun, silly adventure. This white Christmas tree is topped with a snowman, and has the legs and hat of an elf stuck on the side so it looks like it just took dive inside the branches.

When they love to think pink: It’s a Christmas tree fit for a princess. If your little one likes all things pink, this tree is a dream come true. Adorned with opaque pastel ornaments, the lights on the white tree cast off a pale pink glow by illuminating the pink tulle that’s wrapped throughout it.

For the Disney dreamer: If you’re skipping the “happiest place on earth” this holiday season (and who wants to wait in line for two hours anyway) your child will love a Disney-themed tree, complete with Mickey and Minnie stuffed animals, classic white Mickey gloves, and colorful decorative orbs.

For the vehicle obsessed: Whether your kid wants to race around a track or play with trucks all day, these two options are fun and easy. Wrap caution tape or some leftover plastic tracking from their toys around the tree, and adorn it with their favorite race cars and trucks. At the base, add in a few of their existing toy trucks or cars that would be too heavy to sit on the branches.

For the littlest elves: If the idea of putting a Christmas tree in your child’s room leaves you nervous, then this toddler-friendly one will have you breathing easy. Made of green felt, this tree makes it easy for your child to attach and remove the “ornaments” by hanging them on little red poofs. And since it’s about their height, they can reach everything without any struggle.
