Name: Rachel Rose
Location: Downtown Prescott, Arizona

Our tiny coolest home is a studio rental in the heart of historic downtown Prescott, Arizona. It is only 530 square feet yet feels just perfect for me and my husband.

The property owners/management (who are friends of ours) took a year to completely renovate and restore this precious space. Major renovations include taking down plaster walls to expose the 1930s brick, tearing up old blue shag carpet, completely updating the kitchen with vintage and antique up cycled appliances, and stainless steel finishes.

One of the best pieces in the place is an antique chandelier in the kitchen. It was salvaged from an estate sale, and my friend’s dad re-wired it for modern lighting. We were able to be the first ones to rent the newly refurbished place.

The touches we added were simple, modern, and artsy. The place is fully decked with our art (both Art majors), vintage books, 60s modern accents and furniture, with a few heirloom pieces as well. Although it is very tiny, it feels completely roomy (probably due to the high ceilings). Our location is perfect as well. We are situated right downtown in Prescott, with a gorgeous view of historical buildings and the city’s two major landmarks Thumbutte and Granite Mountain.
