Justin Hollinger and his spouse have owned this three-bedroom, 1500-square-foot house in Lancaster, Pennsylvania’s, Hamilton Park neighborhood for two-and-a-half years, and share it with their 3-year-old daughter, 2-month-old son, and a dog.

“The house is a 1939 Cape Cod, built on a plot purchased as part of a subdivision plan prepared by Hamilton Watch Company to provide workforce housing for their manufacturing headquarters adjacent to the neighborhood. The original owner spent his entire life here until he died in 1995,” Justin begins.

“Upon moving in, we had to tackle a lot of deferred maintenance, and fix some shoddy work to make the home safe, in addition to some more exciting and fun changes. We are the fourth successive owners, a family of four, plus a dog. We spend a lot of our time away from the house hiking, cycling, and playing at parks. We spend a lot of time in the house cooking, drawing, painting, and playing games.”
