My husband and I recently just moved into this condo, which is a rental. We love the natural light that pours into the space throughout the day, which is a big reason why we moved into this space. I love bright and bold colors and a lot of furniture pieces that I have painted have pops of color and pattern. I rarely ever use neutral tones since I love everything to be bright and cheery.

Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Fun, bright, bold, and colorful.

I painted each dining room chair in a different bold color. The dining table was also a thrift store find which I transformed using the marbled paint technique (Image credit: Anam Zohaib)

What is your favorite room and why? My favorite room has to be the dining room as I recently gave it a complete makeover.

If you could magically change something about your home, what would it be? Since I live in a rental I constantly want to make changes having the DIY bug in me, but some of the changes I can’t execute as they are too permanent. But currently—surprisingly—I don’t have any changes that I would like to make in my home.

I chose to use a removable wallpaper in my dining room as I live in a rental so it does not damage the walls. Plus it is so easy to install and looks great. (Image credit: Anam Zohaib)

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? The last thing I bought for my home was basically wood as I had to frame wall art and also make DIY shelves.

Any advice for creating a home you love? What has helped me in creating a home that I love is to make mood boards and Pinterest where you can easily get design inspiration. It is a great way to see how certain color palettes, designs, and furniture will look together.

Thanks, Anam!
