After months of being stuck indoors with not much to do but attend Zoom meetings and get stressed out by the news, the need to unplug is real. Thankfully, one lucky person could get paid $1,000 to do just that.

Utah-based Satellite Internet, a company that sells—as the name says—satellite internet in rural areas, is offering to shoulder a 48-hour RV getaway at a National Park, along with a $1,000 pay day. The catch? To do the opposite of what the tech company is all about: to stay away from being connected, and simply enjoy the great outdoors.

“We know that staying connected has become more important than ever but that doesn’t mean we’re still prone to too much screen time,” said Satellite Internet staff researcher Tim Tincher. “We wanted to find a way to help someone tune out the world and get back in tune with nature.”

Here are some details: If you get picked, you’ll rent an RV and head to a National Park of your choice. You’ll spend the weekend without technology; that means no Wifi, no selfies, and no updates on TikTok. Instead, go on hikes, swim in streams and lakes, and bond with family! Once the digital detox is done, you’ll then share your experience online.

For your “efforts,” the company will pay you $400 upfront and the remaining $600 once you get back from vacation. They’ll also reimburse you for the RV rental, the hotspot usage, and up to $1,000 in food expenses.

Potential detoxers must be 25 years or older, have a valid driver’s license, and eligible to work in the U.S. The winner will be selected on September 23. You can learn more about the promotion here.
