Name: Sandra
Location: San Francisco, California

I’m a textile designer behind the brand Happy French Gang and I live in a typical San Franciscan apartment in a very old house right in front of the famous Dolores Park. The place is about 800 square feet and I think we brought some French spirit to that place!

We have two bedrooms, and the one we gave to our 5 year old is facing the cool Dolores St. palm trees. Of course Happy French Gang textiles are everywhere: cushions, throws, pillows, wall hanging, curtains. I love to buy local goods, like arts from Kindah Khalidy, Jen Kindell, Charles Papillo, Christina Empedocles.

In my son’s room, we love that he has a large mattress on the floor where he can host sleep overs, surrounded by Chloe Fleury’s art, his watermelon lamp and his choice of posters. We love plants! So we have them everywhere! Here and there you’ll find Tina Frey bench and her flower pots.

We are fond of our Patrick Townsend white lamp in our bedroom and our ever changing art wall in the kitchen. Our mini balcony with its cactuses and African fabric is a cool place for hangouts and meals under the sun.
