Sarah Sherman Samuel is known for her signature luxe-meets-laidback, California-cool design aesthetic. Just take one quick scroll through her Instagram page, and you’ll see (and probably save) multiple inspo-inducing snippets of her clean, contemporary look. Basically, it’s Samuel’s design world, and we’re all just living in it — which, speaking of, now you actually quite literally can. The Michigan-based designer is bringing her style straight to your home with her biggest launch to date: a new furniture collection in collaboration with Lulu and Georgia.

Samuel has previously partnered with the popular home brand on a series of must-see home decor staples. Now, her third Lulu and Georgia line expands on those offerings, most notably marking the designer’s first foray into furniture.

Curved shapes, warm hues, and of-the-moment patterns (hello, checkerboard!) take center stage among the modern, minimalist pieces. You’ll find these reflected in everything from the ultra-unique Whit Dining Chairs to the dreamy, low-slung Hyvaa Bed, available in a few upholstery options (on-trend bouclé included!). Beyond looks, comfort’s key, too. Samuel prioritized cozy textures and easy-to-sink-into silhouettes, as shown in the cognac-hued and linen Rupert Sofa pictured above.

On the smaller-scale side, any longstanding Sarah Sherman Samuel x Lulu and Georgia fans will also be pleased to discover the newest rug, wallpaper, and pillow continuations. The same accents you know and love get a fresh feel, thanks to abstract designs, contrasting color palettes, and soft lines. I especially love the retro Velvet Disc Pillow, a round bed or sofa statement-maker.

The collection is really inspired by nature, and then also my previous travels — and since we weren’t able to travel a lot at that time, inspired by old hotels and European architecture,” Samuel shared in a press release. As a testament to her love of the line, the designer has also unsurprisingly already put three of the new furnishings on display in her own house: the Merrit Nighstand in her bedroom, the Irregular Checkerboard Rug layered in the living room, and the Ripple Chair stationed in her guest bathroom.

The Sarah Sherman Samuel furniture collection falls on the pricier side — ranging from $58 to $5,698 — but each of the high-quality, thoughtfully-made pieces, big or small, can easily integrate into any space. Shop the full line exclusively on the Lulu and Georgia website, or at least just scope out some inspiring decorating ideas.
