If you’re looking to make some extra money ahead of the holidays and possibly score some sweet retail discounts to save even more on gifts for your nearest and dearest, FlexJobs has got you covered. The job search pros have compiled a list of 16 companies hiring for seasonal jobs, and plenty of them are on the hunt now for remote and in-person workers to fulfill those retail holiday rush needs.

Whether you’re looking for some supplemental income to ease the sting of holiday shopping or are hoping to transition into a new permanent role, you’re sure to find something that fits your interests and skills among the bunch. From beloved stores like Gap Inc. and Nordstrom to online retailers, there’s something for everyone on the list.

For workers looking to gift their loved ones with unique treasures from independent creators, look no further than Uncommon Goods. The company is hiring several remote and in-person roles at their Brooklyn warehouse, and all seasonal positions come with a 40 percent discount on purchases, which means you can check every item off your gift list and slash your budget in a major way.

Of course, there’s always Williams-Sonoma, which is bringing back its remote seasonal opportunities for the 2021 holidays. You’ll score a 40 percent discount at the company’s many famous brands, including Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, PBteen, West Elm, Rejuvenation, and Mark and Graham. Opportunities are scattered across the company’s remote customer care centers in multiple states including Alabama, Nevada, Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, and others, so you can cross off gifts for your loved ones who have settled into their new pandemic homes over the past year.

Lastly, Wine.com — aka the self-proclaimed “world’s largest wine store” — is on the hunt for remote part-time customer service reps to residents of several states, including Texas, Ohio, New Jersey, Oregon, New York, California, and more. These roles will initially offer 20-25 hours per week of customer service work, with additional hours available between Thanksgiving and Christmas, and the company expects the role to last through at least the end of December to close out the holiday season. It’s unclear if this opportunity includes any discounts or benefits, but if you’re looking to flex your sommelier muscles and help others choose the perfect wine-related gifts for the holidays without leaving your house, this one might be the fit for you.
