Semihandmade, a designer-loved brand that made its name by providing custom-look doors and drawer fronts for IKEA cabinetry, is now making its own exclusive line of cabinets. That means it’s now a one-stop shop for all your kitchen and bathroom renovation cabinet needs — and no longer requires ordering IKEA cabinet boxes to complete a renovation project.

As part of the launch, customers can shop the 40+ different color, silhouette, and material door choices Semihandmade currently stocks — including the popular Sarah Sherman Samuel Quarterline collection as well as the paintable DIY options — and choose from cabinet boxes in white or plywood. Everything ships flat-packed from one place and arrives within eight to 10 weeks, so you can streamline the entire cabinet installation process by eliminating the need to wait for a separate IKEA order.

Semihandmade will now also offer custom size cabinets for a truly bespoke look, and appliance- and glass-ready options will be available, too. You can even order cabinet hardware straight from the brand. Going at a major renovation alone isn’t easy, so Semihandmade also has design services on hand to help you spatially plan your installation right from your laptop. Kitchens and bathrooms are the most obvious places to consider this collection or any of Semihandmade’s other offerings, but you can easily outfit a home office, living room, or another space with this kind of closed storage, too, if you’d like to.

Pricing for this line will be premium, as it is considered a truly custom solution. So if you’re looking for a more budget-friendly product, Semihandmade will continue to sell its IKEA-compatible doors so you can hack your way to your dream kitchen or bath. The company also has a sister brand, Boxi, which centers around a tightly curated assortment of eight full cabinet styles.

Over its decade-plus existence as a company, Semihandmade has worked with tons of collaborators and prominent decorating pros, from Athena Calderone to Leanne Ford to the Brownstown Boys. The brand will continue to expand its designer-led offerings. Look for more in this vein to come this spring, when renovation season is officially underway.
