Siggi’s Is Hiring a “Chief Simplicity Off-skyr” to Promote Work-Life Balance
If the past few years us anything, it’s that our priorities may have been out of whack. For many, the work-life balance was off-kilter and folks were ignoring it until a global pandemic forced people to reevaluate what is important. Siggi’s wants everyone to lean into the slower, simpler life many have come to realize they want, and the yogurt brand is offering the freelance gig of a lifetime: they’re looking for a Chief Simplicity Off-skyr.
“While many companies have been pushing for a healthy work/life balance, Siggi’s is the first to offer a gig that truly maximizes living a simple life and enjoying the benefits that the environment and nature have to offer,” the brand writes on the application page.
Basically, the brand wants to pay someone to explore a flexible, free, and simple lifestyle that doesn’t revolve around work.
As part of Siggi’s new “less sets you free” campaign, the brand has opened up an application for those interested in living free in Iceland. The Chief Simplicity Offi-skyr will work remotely during the country’s 4-day work week and document their new simple lifestyle soaking up all the natural beauty, friendly locals, and high living standards Iceland has to offer.
Basically, if chosen, you’ll be documenting how Icelandic people consistently maintain their happiness so others here in the U.S. can learn a thing or two about simple living. You’ll also be taking photos, writing about your Iceland adventures, brainstorming new flavors for Siggi’s inspired by Icelandic foods, and creating content for Siggi’s social media.
And you’ll also be compensated up to $50,000 for your freelance work. If this sounds like the job for you, then head over to Siggi’s Chief Simplicity Offi-skyr application page and make sure your passport is up to date. You could be finding your peak happiness in Iceland sooner than later.
