As a beauty blogger with over a million Instagram followers, Andreea Cristina of Simply Andreea rarely stays in one place for very long. Having both sponsorships that take her around the world and a professional soccer player for a husband means a lot of traveling and not a lot of time spent at home. In the short time Andreea’s lived at her current residence, she has made a concerted effort to create a cozy, inspiring space to maximize her family’s precious time at home.

The newlyweds may not always be in the same city at the same time, but the couple (along with Andreea’s two cats and Bryan’s dog) calls this Los Angeles apartment home base. While she’s only lived in her current apartment for six short months, she’s made sure to make the most of her rental. From wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling window treatments to streamlined storage that carefully conceals the truckloads of beauty products she receives on a daily basis, having a home that feels comfortable and inspiring is extremely important to Andreea. Her home ultimately feels peaceful and inviting, with lush textures and a hint of girly glam.

Apartment Therapy Survey:

My Style: Cozy, girly, glam.

Inspiration: I started out with my color scheme which was gray and blush. From there I wanted storage for all my skin care and beauty products (I’m a beauty blogger).

Favorite Element: The couch is super comfy.

Biggest Challenge: Storage space.

What Friends Say: All my friends say my home is super cozy and inviting.

Biggest Embarrassment: The carpet. Ugh, I hate carpet but when you rent you can’t be super picky. Especially in LA on a budget.

Proudest DIY: I use boxes I get products in that have pretty packaging as storage boxes for my bathroom.

Biggest Indulgence: My bedroom set and rugs.

Best Advice: Don’t be afraid to change up your style in new spaces.
