I specifically chose living in a studio in order to focus my finances towards enjoying the city and traveling. The other benefit of the studio is I can really curate a special space that feels at home in the already existing architectural elements I’ve lived here for about two years alone and have really enjoyed getting to know the city.
Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Modern, bohemian, eclectic, masculine, Scandinavian
What is your favorite room and why? It’s a studio so the main living space. I’ve brought my space to life slowly but surely with plants and art to make the neutral small space feel dynamic and special.
If you could magically change something about your home, what would it be? I would love an outdoor space, entertaining under string- and candlelight is my favorite.
What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home?Plants from IKEA! Still have my eye on a banana leaf palm.
Any advice for creating a home you love? Buy real art! Or make it yourself! There are plenty of people in your life that make art, take advantage of it! Also don’t be afraid to mix in some family pieces; it makes contemporary spaces feel real and adds personality.
