Name: Sophia Hansjacob
Location: 11th arrondissement, Paris, France
Size: 355 square feet
Years lived in: 2 years

Sophia Hansjacob lives in what might be the perfect Paris apartment. This little flat has it all: beautiful details, huge casement windows, wood floors (in the bedroom), and the very best part: a balcony with a view over the rooftops of Paris.

Sophia, a stylist and jewelry designer, has filled her small apartment with just the basics: a bed, a desk, a comfy chair for reading, a low sofa that doubles as a spot to take tea. The flat has a cozy feel, but there’s still plenty of room to breathe. Colorful touches abound, from the striped blanket on the Togo sofa to the bright green refrigerator. The overall effect is cheerful and colorful, eclectic but airy. And just a step outside, there is all of Paris at your feet.

To see more of Sophia’s designs (she’s wearing one in the photo below!), you can check out her website and follow her on Facebook and Twitter. And if you’re planning on being in Paris and want to experience the apartment (and the view!) for yourself, it is available to rent on AirBnB.
