Name: Stephanie
Location: Point Dume -Malibu, California

My husband and I decided to relocate to Malibu, California a year ago so that our young children could grow up close to the ocean. Having spent a lot of time in Sweden as a child, I have developed a strong affinity for nordic design. Scandinavian homes have a pure, understated elegance that is centered around clean lines, warm functionality and minimal ornamentation.

We renovated a 1970s home located in Point Dume and gave it a Scandinavian flair. We showcased the home’s original A-frame architecture and clean lines, and maximized natural light. Our house is cheerful, very livable and just a perfect place for my family and I to call home and my favorite room is the bedroom of my 2-year old daughter.

Thanks, Stephanie!
