Name: Summer
Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

My creative little haven. This is a rental apartment in the core of downtown Toronto, just a few blocks from Dundas Square. I chose the location due to the short walking distance to work and the great outside space (for my dog).

I’ve always been interested in interior decorating but I never wanted my home to feel like a magazine. I treasure comfort and livability. You can see my personality in every inch of my space. My belief is that, if everything is interesting and you love each piece, it will all flow together. I enjoy the fusion of modern, antique and bohemian. I never shy away from color. I want my home to feel vibrant and happy.

My main living space is my favourite area because it houses most of my special items and memories. I keep all of my sentimental trinkets and souvenirs on the shelf about my record player. I also really enjoy the yellow floral wall hanging in my dining area. I created that by painting a large canvas with a Union Jack (my heritage is British) and then draping one of my favourite scarves over the canvas. I love how you can see through the scarf!

Thanks, Summer!
