He shows the difference between his cozy lighting setup versus how the room feels when the “big light” in the center of the ceiling is turned out. Honestly? It’s a major jump scare. 

One of Ben’s most life-changing tips is to add a sunset lamp to your lighting collection. “I love sunset lamps because they can fit into any space, into any tiny little nook and cranny,” he shared. “I have mine shoved right here,” Ben continued, showing that his lamp is tucked in next to another floor lamp. “Even though it’s super small, the lighting effect it gives off is phenomenal.”

When turned on, the lamp creates a sunset-like effect, washing the room in warm reds, oranges, and yellows. It also creates deep shadows that mimic actual sunset.
