This Viral $5 Target DIY-Friendly Wall Decor Is Hiding in an Unexpected Spot
Spring feels like the perfect time for tiny refreshes at home. The days are growing longer, the weather’s getting warmer, and the itch to shake off winter’s decor in favor of something with a little more pep is undeniable. You might find yourself reaching for paint, or maybe for wallpaper — both great options for relatively quick, low-cost upgrades. But there’s an even quicker, easier, and yes, cheaper option at Target: terrazzo-look decals in a cool tan, gray, and terracotta palette that, once placed on a wall, give the look of expensive wallpaper without the hassle or cost.
But you won’t find these decals with the home goods. Instead, they’re hidden among the seasonal toys, vases, mugs, coloring books, and more in Bullseye’s Playground, that treasure trove of usually under-$10 finds at the front of the store. And like the rest of the goodies there, these terrazzo-look decals are priced at a steal — just $5 for a pack of 20.
@lawrenpaige Target bullseye’s playground for the win! I’m in love with how it turned out! 😍 #fyp #target #foryou #targetbullseye #targetdollarspot

I might not have known about these decals if not for Facebook. Photos started infiltrating the home decor group I’m in, where people were using the decals in bathrooms, hallways, entryways, and more. I joined another group — one just for fans of Bullseye’s Playground, because there really is a group for everything — to learn more. There, people from all over the country were snagging multiple packs of the decals to use in their homes, too. Once I ran into the decals in a TikTok video with more than 55,000 likes on my homepage (posted above), I knew the secret was out.

While these decals have been around since February, they’ve still been popping up on my social media feeds into March, so you’ve got a chance to snag them. The unfortunate news is that like many of the offerings in Bullseye’s Playground, these decals are not for purchase online. However, you are able to search by your zip code to see if they’re in stock at your local store (they’re out in my current area, but are still available in an old ZIP code).
And if you’re truly intent on getting your hands on these things no matter the cost, note that as of publication, there are at least three active listings for these on the resale site Mercari (albeit for far more than the original cost).
Can’t find any, or love the style but not the color scheme? Get the look by grabbing a few rolls of removable wallpaper in the colors of your choice, then cut out random stone-like shapes in a variety of hues. Put them on the wall in a random pattern for instant terrazzo style.
