You Can Stay at the Hotel Where “The Bachelorette” Is Currently Being Filmed
The coronavirus pandemic has altered, well, everything in Hollywood and beyond, including the normal filming routine for ABC’s “The Bachelorette.” Rather than bouncing from one tropical location to the next, this upcoming 2020 season—now starring Tayshia Adams after Clare Crawley reportedly quit —will take place at only one resort. And, after the season wraps up filming, you can stay where the roses were once handed out.
Earlier this summer, the next season of “The Bachelorette” started to be filmed at La Quinta Resort & Club in Palm Springs, California. Crawley was first spotted at the resort in July before she reportedly handed the lead role over to Adams, and a source close to the production team told People that the “entire resort is shut down and nobody but the cast and crew is there,” per coronavirus regulations.
The insider continued, “The resort is essentially a protective bubble. Nobody is coming and going…It is a smaller crew, and people are wearing masks and keeping a social distance.” And according to the La Quinta Resort & Club website, booking won’t be available until Sept. 3, 2020, which means “The Bachelorette” plans to be wrapped by then.
Most of the season has been shot outside, per the source, and with exteriors like this, the upcoming season is going to look beautiful.
The resort offers casitas, suites, villas, and private vacation rentals for guests. And during your stay, you can partake in golf, tennis, pickleball, and yoga, as well as several salon and spa services. La Quinta Resort & Club also has several eateries available on site for guests to dine in or eat out.
