This apartment in Barcelona features stunning architectural details, a soothing neutral color palette and an envious array of furniture and accessories from Minotti. Not surprisingly, considering the home’s occupants: Anke Summerhill, the Creative Director of Minotti London, and her husband John Summerhill, MD of Minotti London. Anke managed the remodel and interior design of this stunning space.

The apartment features two bedrooms that both have ensuite bathrooms, a spacious entryway and even a cloakroom. Anke writes:

“I loved the place as I wanted to buy something in the Gothic Quarter, but most properties there are in narrow roads/alleyways and so often quite dark. This property is on a square overlooking the side of the town hall and so very light. In fact each room has natural light, which is not often the case in that neighborhood. It has a great roof terrace that we will also do up, but not done yet.

The flat was very dark with a lot of small rooms and false ceilings; I think this is the reason it was not sold as it did not look appealing inside at all. I, however, could imagine it with a lot of walls taken out and exposing the original ceiling. The place is really transformed; you would not think it was the same place.”
