With his friendly smile and big red cap, Theodore the Tugboat became a beloved ‘90s TV icon for an entire generation of children. If you’ve ever fantasized about embarking on an adventure with the character, your dream might actually come true.

For two nights in September, travelers will get the chance to book a stay aboard a real-life version of the Canadian tugboat called the Theodore Too, which is now available on Airbnb. It joins the vacation rental’s growing OMG! Category, which spotlights over 30,000 unusual stays around the world. This marks the first time that non-crew members will be able to board Theodore Too for an overnight stay.

“Our crew is lucky to spend the summer cruising the Great Lakes aboard the friendliest tugboat in Canada, which is why I’m so excited Theodore Too fans have the chance to take part in his adventures,” the ship’s host, Captain Noah, said in a release. “As your Airbnb host, I can’t wait to show you around Theodore TOO from bow to stern and port to starboard and take you on your own Big Harbor adventure for a night.”

The tugboat has 3 bedrooms: one with a queen sized bed, one with a single bed, and one with a bunk bed. Free parking, Wi-Fi, a kitchen, and a TV are also included.

An overnight stay on the Theodore Too includes a trip exploring Hamilton, Ontario’s Hamilton Harbour with crew members, tasting local food at Hamilton’s small businesses, and a movie night on deck under the stars.

In honor of these stays, Airbnb will make a one-time donation to The Sunshine Foundation of Canada, a national charity that makes dreams come true for children with severe physical disabilities.

Guests can book two individual one-night stays on Sept. 10, 2022 and Sept. 11, 2022 for just $22 CAD a night, which Airbnb says is “a nod to Theodore Too’s 22 years.”

According to the listing, guests will be selected on a first come, first serve basis. You can request to book a stay beginning Monday, Aug. 29, at 12 p.m. ET.

Happy sailing!
