TikTok Just Made Game Night Spicy With This DIY Jenga Set
Finally — finally! — warm weather and vaccine rollouts mean that the gang can get back together again. Game night is back on (and not just virtually via Zoom) for the first time in what feels like forever. And this TikTok-famous DIY Jenga game needs to be the first game you play, because it guarantees a good time.
TikTok user @amber_a_p_27, who goes by amber_poer on the video sharing platform, showed the process of creating her very own “Girl’s Night Jenga” set in late March, and since then, her video went viral garnering over 2.1 million likes.
To create her customized game, amber_poer painted a standard set of Jenga blocks with baby pink acrylic paint and then wrote a series of questions or challenges on each block including tasks like, “What color is your underwear?,” “Everyone (except you) drinks,” and “Take a shot.”
So, when it’s your turn to pull a block from the Jenga tower, you need to complete the task on the block you pull in order to stay in the game.

Of course, the best thing about this DIY Jenga set is that it’s completely customizable. You can choose your favorite color (or use several colors—perhaps assigning rules to specific hues), as well as a unique variety of questions or tasks, getting as specific and inserting as many inside jokes as you’d like. One person even commented on amber_poer’s post that they made a similar custom version of the game and simply numbered the blocks so they can use a different numbered list of challenges depending on what group they’re playing with.
The DIY Jenga set is also an awesome gift idea for birthdays, bachelorette parties, anniversaries, etc. One TikTok user even commented, “I did this…but a naughty one for my man.”
Nothing is off limits for your DIY Jenga game, so prepare for a constant stream of laughter when the gang gathers for game night.
