This TikToker Created the Perfect Spooky Outdoor Lighting Using Two Unexpected Colors

When you think of Halloween colors, a few probably come to mind: black and orange for sure, but potentially also purple and green. But one TikToker created an incredibly spooky outdoor Halloween display using a color combination not commonly seen at Halloween time: blue and red.

@TheHalloweenPage used this set of plug-in LED floodlights from Amazon. Each light comes with its own remote that allows you to change the color to one of the 16 available options. And according to the TikToker, they only used the four lights included in the pack to get that super-spooky effect (one set to red and three set to blue).

Once you have these lights, you’ll find yourself using them all year round. They’re great for Christmas (red and green) and they can even be used to highlight wreaths, scarecrows, or other outdoor decorations when set to a soft white light.

Twinkle lights and LED strips are great, but sometimes you need to up the ante and give your home decor an entire wash of color. While blue and red was never really considered an eerie combination before, after seeing this TikToker use them to spookify their home, you’ll seeing these two colors in a whole new light.
