A Family of Three Snuggles into a 200-Square-Foot Modern Minimalist Tiny House on Wheels
Name: Quinn Dimitroff, my husband and toddler
Location: Bellingham, Washington
Size: 200 square feet
Years lived in: 6 months, owned
Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Modern minimalist tiny home
Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: We are a family of 3 living in our tiny home on wheels in the PNW.
How long have you lived here? 6 months, renovation took 1 year
What is your favorite room and why? The bathroom, hands down. It’s roomy and light-filled and the bathtub is my happy place.
If you could magically change something about your home, what would it be? I wish our bed was accessible from all sides! Changing the sheets is a mix of unsolicited cardio and yoga.
What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? I recently bought a really cute yellow pillow from IKEA, which as far as our space goes, was a BIG purchase!
Which fictional character would be most at home in your place? Maybe Stewart Little?
Any advice for creating a home you love? With any space, keeping a few non-negotiables in mind throughout the process and not sacrificing on those is incredibly important. There will be sacrifices made along the way in curating any home, but pick a few things and stick to your guns on them.
