The only thing more therapeutic than browsing the aisles of a T.J. Maxx is perhaps browsing its website on a late-night scroll. (The way I see it, scrolling through lamps is a whole lot better than doom-scrolling!) Earlier this week I decided to try out one of our Executive Home Director Danielle Blundell’s many, many insider “Maxxinista” shopping tips: the “C” rule

Because it’s not currently possible to search T.J. Maxx or Marshalls’ sites by brand, searching by country of manufacture is a great way to find some of the higher-end gems. So I went to the search bar and typed in “Made in USA” — and that’s where I hit the jackpot. A whole host of the most gorgeous animal print pillows filled the screen … and they were on sale!

What Is the “By Schumacher Fabric” Austin Horn Collection?

Austin Horn, known for its luxury bedding, is a brand I’ve seen once or twice before at Marshalls and T.J. Maxx. But the word “Schumacher” jumped out at me immediately. The brand, one of several heritage brands owned by F. Schumacher & Co., specializes in luxury fabric, wallcovering, trim, and home accessories. Even if you’re not familiar with the company, it’s likely you’ll recognize some of their most iconic prints: From tiger stripes to leaping zebras, Schumacher’s fabulous designs are unmistakable.

This particular collection of throw pillows features several of their animal print fabrics. Animal print is everywhere right now in the design world — and if Schumacher’s longevity is any indication, you really can’t go wrong with buying into this “trend.” Leopard print, you will always be famous!

Check out a few of my favorite items from the collection below, available now online at T.J. Maxx. And don’t let them sit in your cart for too long! These beauties aren’t just stylish — they’re on sale, and I can guarantee they won’t be around for much longer.

Leopard Luxury Pillow
$150$79

I was immediately drawn to this gorgeous black and white leopard print. At $79, this pillow is one of the best deals of the bunch. Yes, it’s a lot for a throw pillow — but Schumacher fabrics are famous for a reason. The quality and longevity is just unbeatable, and the versatility of this design makes it so worth it in my eyes.

Safari Leopard Pillow
$150$109

Similar, but different – this taupe shade is a much more “subtle,” warmer take on the linen leopard motif. It’s a bit more expensive, but honestly looks even more luxe. Plus, the pillow insert is included!

$109 at TJ Maxx
Zebra Luxury Pillow
$200$149

Now this one is totally calling my name. Another linen blend fabric, this pillow is larger than the first two at 24x24” — and also bolder! The Zebra print design is nothing short of iconic. This is a conversation-starter if I’ve ever seen one.

$149 at TJ Maxx
Luxury Cottontails Pillow
$150$109

I bet you don’t usually think of bunnies when it comes to “animal print” — but cottagecore fans, rejoice! This is the perfect opportunity to get in on the bold trend. This adorable pillow would also make the perfect subtle seasonal decor for spring.

Striped Velvet Luxury Pillow
$200$149

This bold 13x19” beauty is quite the opposite of the cutesy cottontails! This one was made for the extroverts. It combines two of our favorite patterns: leopard print and stripes. Consider this your one-stop shop for a crash course in pattern play.

$149 at TJ Maxx
Zebra Epingle Luxury Pillow
$400$299

I’m capping off the list with my favorite design — which is of course also the most expensive. This large-format zebra print pattern is the definition of “loud” luxury! A definite investment, but again, you really can’t go wrong with this iconic motif.
