This Stylish T.J. Maxx Gem Instantly Decluttered My Entryway Table — And It’s Selling Out Fast
Up until a few weeks ago, walking into my apartment was kind of a drag. My front entryway has a shoe rack (that I love, actually) that doubles as a console table. The tabletop was usually a mess, crowded with keys, sunglasses, hats, and other items my roommates and I often reach for when running out the door. I’d try to organize it and decorate with flowers every once in a while, but before long, the mess would be back. I knew I needed a tray, basket, or something like that to manage the clutter ASAP. So, I got to searching on T.J. Maxx’s website. The retailer always has good storage finds that are pretty enough to double as decor. I came across the UMA marble trays and thought they were perfect! Now that I’ve had one sitting on my console table and another on my bookshelf for the past couple of weeks, I know I made the right decision for my small space.
What Are the UMA Marble Trays?
These trays come in a set of two, with the larger one measuring 14” x 7” and the smaller tray measuring 11” x 6”. The bigger size was perfect for my narrow console table. It offers just enough space for our sunglasses and keys, so they always stay corralled in their new spot. And, if you’re wondering, the trays really are made of marble. I was a little worried that they’d become damaged during shipping, but they were totally fine and proved much sturdier than I anticipated. I love that each one is thick all around, so I don’t have to worry about it chipping or cracking. And I think the trays’ green color is a nice departure from your traditional white marble.
The trays are selling incredibly fast on T.J. Maxx, so you’ll want to grab your own set soon. But if they do happen to sell out before you can purchase them, I found these similar ones on Amazon. They’re sold separately but also come in two sizes and a variety of colors, including a green that looks almost identical to mine.
Why I Love the UMA Marble Trays
While the larger tray is keeping my front entryway organized, the smaller one is on a bookshelf in my living room. Again, it’s the perfect size, as it’s big enough to hold a number of items but small enough to fit on the skinny tier. I use it to store seashells, matchboxes, and other tiny decorative objects that tend to become scattered if they’re not confined to a specific spot. Although I was certain the trays’ dark green color would easily show dust, that hasn’t been the case; they’ve stayed looking clean. But if you do want to clean them, a quick swipe with a wet wipe or microfiber cloth does the trick.
It also goes without saying that $40 for a set of two real marble trays is a great deal. I’m actually quite bummed that they’re almost gone because I think everyone should have a pair in their home. The trays are super easy to style and give just about any space a more elevated appearance. Hurry while they’re still in stock!
