Living room with bohemian accents and Christmas decorations
The big corner sofa provides lots of space to stretch out and watch Christmas movies and enjoy a fire. I used one of my art easels as a TV stand because it fits perfectly in the corner and I love how it looks!

We love a fresh cut tree and some traditional decorations, like the gold ornaments and stockings hung by the fire, but we’ve also added some boho touches so it reflects the style of our home as well.

Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Boho, cozy, and bright

Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: This is where my daughter has grown up. Over the years, I have rearranged it to reflect our needs, and the style evolved in the process. Every holiday, the decorations also change along with it!

Pops of green and some sparkle add a festive touch to the cabinet by the front door.

How do you identify? Is your identity reflected in your home? We are creative, cheerful, and love to be at home, so I feel this space reflects us perfectly! The clean white palette allows natural light to brighten the space and the accessories to pop.

What is your favorite room and why? The living room is our favorite room because it’s where we spend time together relaxing and enjoying the fire on cold winter days.

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? The floor cushion from a local shop called Purdy Natural.

A broken ornament provides an opportunity to create a unique centrepiece for the dining room table!

Any advice for creating a home you love? Take your time to find just the right mix of accessories. Buy original art if you can, shop for vintage finds, collect books, tweak, and edit until it feels right!
